How can I get media accreditation for WSC 2026?
The international media registration window closed on 22 July due to extensive visa procedures. Any national media, or international media already holding J1 visas in Mainland China, can still apply for media accreditation through the domestic media registration by emailing media.registration@wss2026.com and inquire regarding possibilities.
Where does my media registration stand?
Any international media application can be tracked in the WorldSkills International Horizon system under the login details of the applicant. If you are awaiting a visa invitation letter, please note that the process of background checks takes between 2-4 weeks.
How do I get access to the Ceremonies and WorldSkills Conference?
Closer to the event, all accredited media will receive an email with invites to apply for media positions to both the Opening and Closing Ceremony, as well as to the WorldSkills Conference. WorldSkills International will do its best to secure media positions for all accredited outlets, and a fair arbitration process will be put in place for all applications.
What is the procedure for bringing media equipment into China?
